SXSW London — Interactive Visuals for Festival Branding
For the first-ever European edition of the world-famous South by Southwest festival, held in London, I collaborated with KesselsKramer to create the interactive, sound-responsive visuals at the heart of the festival’s brand identity.
The creative direction centered around SXSW London’s theme of “beautiful collisions” — the idea that music, tech, and film could intersect in unexpected and inspiring ways. My role was to design and develop a suite of animated textures that dynamically responded to audio, creating a living, breathing visual language that tied together the campaign and festival experience.
These visuals were integrated across multiple media formats, from online campaign assets to large-scale event displays, giving the identity a reactive, energetic personality that evolved with the festival’s soundscape.
The result was an immersive branding system that didn’t just represent the festival — it moved with it, embodying the collaborative and cross-disciplinary spirit of SXSW London.
